Isidro Reyna, APR, joined the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District as a civilian public affairs officer in 2009. As the deputy chief of public affairs, Reyna maintains internal and external communications for the district in coordination with the chief, ensuring the Public Affairs Office effectively communicates the district’s engineering mission strategically and transparently to a complex military, civil service and contract workforce as well as key audiences ranging from stakeholders to congressional representatives.
Prior to his employment with the district, Isidro worked as a public affairs specialist in the U.S. Army Office of the Chief of Public Affairs at the Pentagon, Washington, D.C., and for the U.S. Army Operational Test Command Headquarters at Fort Hood, Texas, executing media relations, command information and community relations initiatives.
