Houston Project Office Rangers, Grant Foote, Andrew Cook, Eric Angle and Mark Tyson, participated in an abandoned crab trap removal at the Wallisville Lake Project. A total of 25 abandoned crab traps were removed from the Project's waters. Abandoned crab traps have been found to be a significant source of entrapment for a variety of aquatic species as well as a source of costly repairs for boaters whose motors can become entangled in the wire mesh traps.
