The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District and the Cedar Bayou Navigation District (CBND) are set to begin construction of the Cedar Bayou Channel Improvement Project. Construction of the project is expected to begin February 2020. A Project Partnership Agreement was formally signed by USACE Galveston District and CBND Sept. 23, which initiates the Channel Improvement Project.
