    GALVESTON, Texas (Sept. 23, 2015) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District, in coordination with the Texas General Land Office, will host two public meetings to provide an opportunity for the public to comment on the Coastal Storm Risk Reduction and Ecosystem Restoration Draft Integrated Feasibility Report and Environmental Impact Statement as part of the Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay Study in Texas.

    GALVESTON, Texas (Feb. 13, 2015) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District awarded a contract in the amount of $208,866.76 to Quaternary Resources Investigations LLC, for core drilling, soil sampling and laboratory testing of soil conditions in Orange and Jefferson counties, Texas.

    Galveston, Texas (Feb. 5, 2015) - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District will receive new feasibility funding for the Houston Ship Channel and Coastal Texas studies; continued funding for the Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay study; construction funding for Addicks and Barker Dams and Greens Bayou in Houston, as well as continued Operation and Maintenance funding for the Texas waterways in the president’s fiscal year 2016 budget for the Corps’ Civil Works program.
