  • USACE Galveston District to Host Open House for the New Port Arthur Resident Office

    PORT ARTHUR, Texas (April 19, 2019) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District, is hosting an open house for the newly reconstructed resident office in Port Arthur on April 26, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Port Arthur Resident office, located at 201 Pleasure Pier Blvd, Pleasure Island, Port Arthur, Texas. The Corps encourages interested members of the public to attend the open house to meet the staff and learn more about the USACE Galveston District mission.
  • Corps to host public scoping meetings for Buffalo Bayou and Tributaries Resiliency Study

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District will host five public scoping meetings starting April 30 to inform the public about the Buffalo Bayou and Tributaries Resiliency Study (BBTRS) and to seek input from the public on the study scope, potential alternatives that should be considered, and environmental resources of concern.
