Full Public Notice           Project Plans

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The applicant proposes to decommission Pipeline Segment Number (PSN) 8437 in place.  PSN 8437 is an 8-inch gas/condensate pipeline previously permitted under DA Permit 18277.  This pipeline segment has been cut at the POB and POE, flushed, filled with native seawater, and capped.  In locations in which pipeline exposures are found, the pipeline would be lowered to obtain adequate depth of cover.  The end of the pipe will be secured and blind flanged.  Sand bags will be placed into the jetted areas to cover the end of pipe not to exceed the natural bottom.
