Full Public Notice    Project Plans

The applicant proposes to retain 27,100 cubic yards of fill material that was discharged into approximately 600 linear feet of Lawson’s Canal, which equates to 1.377 acres of waters of the United States.  The purpose of the fill is to raise this area to an elevation of 1-2 feet above the 100-year flood elevation to create an equipment staging area in preparation for hurricane or other disaster response.
