Full Public Notice          Project Plans

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The applicant proposes to repair and modify an existing pier.  The applicant proposes to repair the existing 3,955-square-foot Quintana Pier (337.5-foot by 10-foot with 10-foot by 58-foot T-head) with ninety-two 1-foot support pilings at 12.73 feet above mean high tide (MHT).  The applicant also proposes to extend Quintana Pier an additional 3,300 square feet (180 feet by 10 feet with 10-foot by 150-foot T-head) with one hundred and four 1-foot support pilings at 12.73 feet above MHT.  The applicant proposes to drive pilings as part of the structure.  Pilings will total 5,423 square feet (0.12 acre) of Section 10 waters for the purpose of repairing and extending Quintana Pier.  Specifically, the placement of structural pilings within Section 10 waters is composed of 2,123 square feet (0.05 acre) of replacement pilings within the existing pier and 3,300 square feet (0.08 acre) for the pier extension.
