The applicant proposes to place 30 cubic yards of sandbags and 9 cubic yards of precast concrete mats over approximately 45 linear feet of exposed 20-inch-diameter pipeline. This current exposed pipeline is visible on aerial photography and is suspended approximately 12 inches above the low tide line. This suspended pipeline may not be visible to boaters at high tide and may present a hazard to navigation existing in the area.
