Buckeye Knoll Site (41VT98)

    The Galveston District, Corps of Engineers, has concluded Section 106 consultation on the treatment of human remains and archeological materials from the Buckeye Knoll site (41VT98). We have balanced the diverse interests, issues and demands to the greatest extent possible in reaching the decision described in the attached documents. The Statement of Findings summarizes consultation for this project and provides a rationale for the decision. The Final Treatment Plan is a technical document describing the analysis and reporting phases of the project. A copy of the news release is also attached.
