NOTICE OF PUBLIC SCOPING MEETING

CORPUS CHRISTI SHIP CHANNEL, TEXAS

LA QUINTA EXPANSION FEASIBILITY STUDY AND

ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT

 

 

Interested parties are hereby notified of and invited to attend a public scoping meeting to be conducted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Port of Corpus Christi Authority on:

 

JUNE 4, 2019

 6 – 8 P.M.

 

SOLOMON ORTIZ CENTER, NUECES ROOM

402 HARBOR DRIVE, CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas 78401

 

The meeting will provide an opportunity for all persons to identify significant issues related to proposed modifications of the La Quinta Channel. A Draft Integrated Feasibility Report and Environmental Assessment (DIFR-EA) will be prepared to assess the social, economic and environmental effects of widening and deepening the La Quinta Channel in Nueces County, Texas.  Written comments must be postmarked by July 3, 2019.
