Lt. Col. Jay Luckritz retires from the U.S. Army
GALVESTON, Texas (June 28, 2019)— Lt. Col. Jay Luckritz retires from the U.S. Army as Deputy District Engineer and Deputy Commander of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District. Throughout his twenty-year career of steadfast leadership in the engineer regiment and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Lt. Col. Luckritz led with distinction during unprecedented times of record workload, maintaining an outstanding execution rate. Under his leadership, Galveston District excelled in civil and international/inter-agency support. His leadership and dedication contributed immeasurably to the success of the U.S. Army and our nations’ security. His actions are in keeping with the finest traditions of the U.S. military and reflect great credit upon himself, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the United States Army.
