Full Public Notice          Project Plans          Alternative Analysis          Permittee Responsible Mitigation Plan

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The applicant proposes to permanently discharge 150,000 cubic yards of fill material into 16.85 acres of emergent wetlands, 0.13 acre of linear emergent wetlands, 2.88 acres of forested wetlands, and 4.30 acres of open water features to construct a mixed-use development.  The applicant proposes to temporarily discharge fill material into 0.33 acres of emergent wetlands and 50 linear feet of Harpers Horsepen Branch during the open cut trench installation of an eight-foot-wide box culvert.  The applicant proposes to construct a mixed-use development (MetroPark Square) which would consist of 200,000 square feet of retail space, a movie theater, a full service hotel and convention space, a limited service hotel, 900 multifamily units, and 750,000 square feet of office and medical office space.  The proposed work includes the extension of David Memorial Drive and the construction of a detention facility.
