Public Notice          Project Plans

The applicant requests authorization to place fill material into wetlands and/or waters of the US to expand their Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) terminal and to construct a pipeline to transport natural gas to the terminal site.

The terminal expansion will include construction within a 248.7-acre footprint to install three new liquefaction trains and other supporting infrastructure. The Pipeline will include construction of a 55.6 mile, 48-inch-diameter natural gas pipeline, with meter stations, laydown areas, temporary work spaces, temporary and permanent access roads, with a 135-foot-wide construction corridor right of way (110-foot-wide in wetland areas). Installation of the pipeline will also include 12 horizontal directional drills (HDDs).  Seven of the HDDs will cross under waterbodies (Mayhaw Bayou, Big Hill Bayou, Taylor Bayou Outfall Canal, the GIWW, the SNWW, and Sabine Lake). HDD crossings under Big Hill Bayou and Taylor Bayou Outfall Canal will require barges to transport equipment to temporary barge landings.

The proposed project will impact wetlands and waters of the US. The applicant has provided the below information regarding impacts by state:
