Public Notice          Project Plans

The Project was initially authorized on 29 October 2020, as Permit No. SWG-2019-00744 and was not initiated or constructed within the period of authorization, expiring 31 December 2025. The applicant proposes to construct a living shoreline involving the following components: (1) planting of 0.6 acre of the shoreline with native marsh and coastal vegetation along the shoreline; and (2) placement of approximately 7,500 cubic yards of stone riprap material within 2 areas of Aransas Bay for construction of offshore segmented riprap breakwaters.
