Special Public Notice

The purpose of this notice is to advise the public that the United States (U.S.) Army Corps of Engineers (Corps), Galveston District, has established new Letters of Permission Procedures (LOPs) to more efficiently authorize activities under both Section 404 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) and Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act of 1899 (RHA) which have minimal or less than significant impacts on the human environment under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
