- Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay Review Plan
  - What this does: This Review Plan (RP) for Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay (S2G), TX Coastal Storm Risk Management (CSRM) Project will help ensure a quality-engineering project is developed by the Corps of Engineers in accordance with EC 1165-2-217, “Review Policy for Civil Works”. As part of the Project Management Plan this RP establishes an accountable, comprehensive, life-cycle review strategy for Civil Works products and lays out a value added process and describes the scope of review for the current phase of work. - Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay, Texas Coastal Storm Risk Management (CSRM) and Ecosystem Restoration (ER) Final Integrated Feasibility Report and Environmental Impact Study, May 2017
  - What this does: The study identified and screened multiple alternatives to address CSRM and ER problems in the Sabine region, focusing on Orange and Jefferson Counties, and the Brazoria region, focusing on the Freeport area in Brazoria County. The study presents a Recommended Plan.
- Public Law 115-123 (Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018) is passed on Feb 9, 2018
  - What this does: Authorizes $15B for construction (see Title IV for language), this does not specify Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay CSRM Project but makes the funds available for projects with signed Chief’s reports.
- Policy Guidance on Implementation of Supplemental Appropriations in the Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 issued, updated in Jan 2019
  - What this does: Provides implementing guidance for the supplemental appropriations, lists Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay CSRM Project under the construction account.
- Long Term Disaster Recovery Investment Program (LDRIP) list published June 14, 2019
  - What this does: provides an allocation of a specific dollar amount ($3,957,134,000) for Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay from the $15B in Public Law 115-123.
Freeport element Documents (+)
- Freeport and Vicinity Element Project Work Suspended, March 2025
  - What this does: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District (SWG) has officially suspended work on the Freeport and Vicinity element of the Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay Project, effective as of March 11, 2025. Velasco Drainage District (VDD) requested to withdraw from the project, citing environmental, industrial, and economic risks, as well as increased costs. After several months of discussions, deliberation, and due diligence, the USACE is suspending the project.
- Freeport CSRM Project Contract Details
- Army Corps hosts media event and public open house (Feb. 2, 2023) for $703M Freeport Project public open house
  - What this does: The public open house will include an overview of the Sabine Pass to Galveston Bay (S2G) Project and the status of the $703-million Freeport element specifically, including details on construction contract status and the path forward. Army Corps of Engineers subject-matter experts and officials from the Velasco Drainage District will be present to answer questions from the public.
- (FINAL) Notice of Public Information Session for the Freeport and Vicinity Coastal Storm Risk Management Project
  - What this does: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will be hosting three VIRTUAL public information sessions for the Freeport and Vicinity CSRM element: Sept 22 and 23.

- Port Arthur Project – PAV03B & PAV03C – Final Environmental Documents for Public Review
  - What this does: This Supplemental Environmental Assessment (SEA) follows the same general format as the 2017 Environmental Impact Statement (EIS). For the SEA, those sections have been updated (revised) or where new sections have been added (new) are clearly marked. For information that is unchanged, text has been added to denote exactly where details can be found within the 2017 EIS. (August 2023)
