Army Combat Fitness diagnostics test
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Nov. 14, 2019) -The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers Galveston District hosted the Southwest Division’s Leader Professional Development conference at Corpus Christi, Texas. The three day conference highlighted some the Districts civil works projects that began with a tour of the 15,000 cubic yard capacity, Ellis Island hopper dredge which is dredging in support of the Corpus Christi Channel Deeping project. The second day started with a town hall meeting led by Owen which he highlighted some of his command philosophy and provided a brief over of USACE’s origins and current division missions. The day continued with a briefing provided by Lt. Col. Estee Pinchasin, Engineer Branch Chief, OPMD, Human Resources Command who briefed on changes in branch assignments and career development for engineer officers. The day culminated with a tour of the Cheniere Energy plant which utilizes the CC channel to export its Liquefied Natural Gas to its world-wide customers. The third and final day allowed the division team to complete the Army Combat Fitness diagnostics test.
