About the Regulatory Workshop

What: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District Regulatory Division will host a workshop about the Regulatory program.

Who: for all interested parties.

When: January 30, 2019 from 8:30 a.m – 5:00 p.m.

Where: USACE Galveston District Headquarters, 2000 Fort Point Road, Galveston, Texas 77550.

Why: To explain and discuss in detail the technical components of the regulatory program for the public's understanding.

In this workshop, the Regulatory Division, with other agency partners, will discuss in detail the technical components of the Regulatory program.  This will include a discussion about Endangered Species Act with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, coastal zone consistency and other topics with the Texas General Land Office, and a presentation from Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.  The end of each presentation will feature a question and answer session.  On the day of the workshop, you will need to present a valid state-issued driver’s license/identification card or a U.S Government issued passport to access the facility.
