About The Stakeholder Partnering Forum

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District conducts semi-annual Stakeholder Partnering Forums with non-federal sponsors, customers and agency partners to collaborate on best practices regarding programs ranging from ecosystem restoration to flood risk management, maintaining and improving Texas coastal navigation systems, and regulatory oversight of U.S. waters at its Galveston headquarters.

These events help  identify opportunities to better support  stakeholder commitments and emerging interests for Planning Studies, Preconstruction, Engineering and Design, Construction, Operations and Maintenance.

The forum serves as an  opportunity for non-federal sponsors, customers and agency partners from along the Texas coast to network and exchange ideas on ways the Galveston District is able to improve value delivery to the nation across civil works and regulatory business lines.

Fall 2024 Industry Day & Stakeholder Partnering Forum

November 6 - 7, 2024

Theme: "Environmental Justice"

Location: The Tremont House, 2300 Ship Mechanic Row St., Galveston, TX 77550

On behalf of our Commander, Col. Rhett A. Blackmon, and Deputy District Engineer, Byron Williams, the Galveston District (SWG) invites you to our Fall 2024 Industry Day and Stakeholder Partnering Forum (SPF) events.

Our goal is to celebrate, highlight, and renew our commitment to addressing environmental justice in flood risk management.

Intended Audience: This event open to all businesses -- both small and large -- interested in working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and SWG.

DAY 1: We kick things off Wednesday, November 6, with Industry Day, which will offer an impressive lineup of industry experts and thought leaders as guest speakers. Their insights and experiences are sure to inspire and provide valuable knowledge to all attendees. Attendees will have several networking opportunities to connect with fellow participants, speakers, and sponsors. We encourage attendees to take advantage of these networking sessions to exchange ideas, build meaningful connections, and explore potential collaborations.

DAY 2: At the SPF on Thursday, November 7, Galveston District leadership will provide information on upcoming business opportunities within the Southwestern Division and SWG. Afternoon sessions will focus on networking opportunities, project-specific details, needs, and more. This event will be a great opportunity for businesses to showcase their unique capabilities and learn about projects within the Galveston District and surrounding USACE districts.

These events will offer Professional Development Hours, which is a great way to earn credits needed for professional license renewal.

We look forward to your participation in the networking, coalition building, information exchange, and solution identification opportunities, which will help us continually improve how together we deliver value to the nation and especially to Texas!
