98th inland Waterways Users Board Meeting
GALVESTON, Texas (Dec. 1, 2022) The 98th inland Waterways Users Board meeting took place Dec. 2022 in Galveston, Texas. During this quarterly meeting, Mr. Jaime A. Pinkham, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works; Maj. Gen. William H. Graham, Jr., Deputy Commanding General, Civil and Emergency Operations; and the IWUB Team will provide analytical support on a wide array of topics requested by members of the Board, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters, field operating agencies, or other stakeholders as they work to develop the draft IWUB report to Congress. The IWUB is an advisory board established to monitor the Inland Waterways Trust Fund and to make recommendations to the Army and to Congress on investment priorities using resources from the Fund. The USACE Director of Civil Works serves as the IWUB Executive Director and the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works serves as an Inter-Agency Observer, along with representatives of the Maritime Administration, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Department of Agriculture.
