LTC O'Sullivan speaks to community group
Lt. Col. Ian O'Sullivan, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District, Mega Projects Division deputy commander, gave an overview of the Coastal Spine project to 75 members of a Rotary International chapter in Galveston at Fisherman's Wharf, July 19, 2023. O'Sullivan also answered questions from the audience. Lt. Col. Ian O'Sullivan, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District, Mega Projects Division deputy commander, gave an overview of USACE Galveston District and The Coastal Spine Project to 75 members of a Rotary International chapter in Galveston at Fisherman's Wharf, July 19, 2023. The Coastal Spine project has been approved by Congress but has not been funded. O'Sullivan answered questions from the audience. As part of a robust community relations program, The Galveston District (USACE/SWG) receives hundreds of requests each year from associations and industry-based groups for speakers to participate in external meetings, conferences and workshops in the Greater Houston area and across Texas.
