Full Public Notice     Project Plans

The applicant proposes to amend the existing Permit SWG-2014-00776.  The project will consist of:

1. Increase the dock slip length from 750 feet to 1,100 feet. 

2.Install two additional 72-inch-diameter monopole mooring dolphins.

3.The dock slip will be dredged at the same depth as authorized previously (-46.5 feet mean lower low water +2 feet overdepth).  The proposed dredge volume will increase from the currently permitted amount of approximately 85,000 cubic yards of material to 120,000 cubic yards of material.  The proposed dredge area will increase from 4.5 acres to 6.1 acres.  The increased dredge area is a new work area.  The dredge disposal site will be either the South Shore Cell B or the Herbie Mauer dredge material placement area #1 and #2.
