Public Notice Project Plans Alternatives Analysis

Harris County Engineering Department (HCED) is proposing to construct the Highland Ridge and Highland Estates Drainage Improvements Project (UPIN: 19102MF13001) located in Highlands, Harris County, Texas 77562. The project area consists mainly of suburban streets and maintained rights-of-way within the Highland Ridge and Highland Estates Subdivisions, as well as undeveloped lands, totaling 70.52 acres. The proposed project involves the expansion of a Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) drainage channel to add linear detention 8 feet below the surrounding grade.
