Public Notice           Project Plans

This proposed project was initially submitted for public notice 30 July 2020. The applicant is currently submitting modified project plans and a proposed mitigation plan. The applicant proposes the placement of 13,350 cubic yards (CY) of clean aggregate fill within 1.11 acres of sparsely vegetated algal flats and estuarine salt marsh adjacent to the Laguna Madre, above the MHW line, for the construction of the Wind and Water Sports Venue (WWSV) on property currently leased by the City and accessed by the South Padre Island Windsurfing Organization (SPIW).
