Full Public Notice     Project Plans

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The applicant proposes to impact 8.39 acres of wetlands and 0.59 acres of waters of the U.S. during construction to widen U.S. 90 to include a five-lane section in Devers and a four-lane divided facility east of Devers.  East of Devers, travel lanes would be separated by a depressed grassy median.  All work will be constructed within a Right-of-Way (ROW) purchased by TxDOT in 1996.  No additional ROW is needed.  The project is divided into two roadway sections defined as SH 61 to Rice Belt Road and Rice Belt Road to FM 1009.
