Full Public Notice          Project Plans

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The applicant proposes to discharge fill material for beach renourishment and dune construction to original 2005 width for infrastructure protection and recreation.  Such activities include the placement of 50,000 cubic yards of beach quality sand onto 1,900 feet of Bryan Beach.  Approximately, 20,000 cubic yards of sand will be placed above the mean higher high water and 30,000 cubic yards of sand will be placed below the mean high tide .  Approximately 7 acres of non-vegetated, intertidal and subtidal unconsolidated shore  will be impacted during construction activities.
