Full Public Notice     Project Plans

The applicant proposes to discharge approximately 578 cubic yards of concrete below the ordinary high water mark for the purpose of widening and deepening approximately 2,323 linear feet of an unnamed tributary to Mayhaw Bayou and providing erosion protection along the banks so that the bayou may convey storm water downstream and away from existing residential areas.  The erosion protection along the bottom and the side slopes will consist of articulated concrete mats.  Additionally, a 15-foot-wide by 785-foot-long area, within the stream’s riparian buffer, is proposed to be planted approximately 20 feet on center, with 40 native trees.
