The Regulatory Branch is charged with reviewing permit applications for all proposed structures to be built in federally authorized waters within the USACE Galveston District.
The Department of the Army Regulatory Program is one of the oldest in the federal government. The USACE evaluates permit applications for essentially all construction activities that occur in the nation's waters, including wetlands.
