    Marciala Rudd Earns Administrative Professional of the Year Honors

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District (SWG) celebrated the work of Administrative Professionals (admins), April 22, 2026, at the Rosenberg Library in Galveston, Texas. Nominees and supervisors gathered in the Randall Room for the SWG Administrative Professional of the Year ceremony and award presentation.
  • LDP III is geared toward GS-13 level or higher employees, or those with previous leadership experience, focusing on regional perspectives and collaborative relationships. Participants often travel across the Division to meet with leaders, study regional processes, and engage in site visits.

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Galveston District hosted its latest Industry Day, Feb. 27, 2026. Galveston District Commander Colonel David W. Dake began his opening remarks by welcoming almost 200 predominantly civil works industry representatives to the District Headquarters in Galveston, Texas.

O’Sullivan, SWG Deputy Commander for the Mega Projects Division in a ceremony at the Gemini Building in Houston, Texas, Jan. 22, 2026. Major General (retired) Ed Jackson hosted and presided over the ceremony.
