Grant Foot recieves his USACE Park Ranger Badge during a pinning ceremony
GALVESTON, Texas (Aug. 13, 2019) -As is tradition, the District Commander, Col. Timothy Vail, pins the U.S. Army Corps of Engineer Badge on Ranger Foote’s uniform signifying the trust and confidence placed in Ranger Foote to exercise his citation authority judiciously and protect the interests of both the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the United States Government by safeguarding the environmental, cultural, and natural resources of Federal lands. Therefore, Ranger Foote is assigned Galveston District Badge 1797 in order to execute his newfound duties (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers photos by Francisco Hamm).
