The project area consists of 10 separate contracts. Port Arthur Contract 1 (PAV01) was completed July 30, 2022. Contract 3 (PAV03) was awarded in September 2023, and construction began in early 2024. Additionally, Contract 4 (PAV04) is estimated to be awarded in early 2025. For the majority of the project, USACE is in the early stages of the Pre-construction Engineering and Design (PED) phase. The project team expects to complete PED for the majority of the contracts by the end of 2028.
