Full Public Notice          Project Plans          Alternatives Analysis          Functional Assessment

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The applicant proposes to discharge approximately 1,300,000 cubic yards of fill material into 5.6 acres of emergent wetlands, 4.14 acres of scrub/shrub wetlands, and 0.06 acres of open waters.  The purpose of the fill is to develop a 33.7-acre tract for residential communities with amenities, associated parking, infrastructure and utilities.  This project will temporarily impact a total of 3.4 acres of wetlands for floodplain mitigation, (2.54 acres of emergent wetlands, 0.09 acre of scrub/shrub wetlands).  The applicant proposes to hydroseed and selectively plant the floodplain mitigation areas totaling 6.2 acres, which includes the 3.4 acres of wetlands of temporary impacts on the project tract.
