Full Public Notice    Project Plans

 

The permit application proposal has been revised to add:  1) the acreage of new work (construction) dredging impacts to shallow bay bottom located between the existing BCC northern top of slope and the Spilmans Island PA shoreline;  2) additional acreage of new work dredging in the interior of the Turning Basin; 3) construction of riprap shore protection along the proposed modified Spilmans Island PA shoreline; 4) replacement of BCCT wharf cranes with cranes extending farther over navigable waters; 5) identification of specific locations within Spilmans Island PA where new work dredged material suitable for construction and/or repair of levees would be placed/stockpiled; and 6) enlargement of berthing areas, portions of which were previously authorized by a separate Department of the Army (DA) permit.
