Lt. Col. Jay T. Luckritz, PMP

Lt. Col. Jay T. Luckritz, PMP graduated from Florida Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1999 and received his commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  Following his commission, he was assigned to Camp Howze, Korea.

Jay’s past military assignments include serving as a battalion S3 and Platoon Leader with 44th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division, Korea; Engineer Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, and Assistant S3 with 65th Engineer Battalion, 25th Infantry Division (L), Schofield Barracks;

He also served as the Brigade Engineer for Task Force Thunder, Region Command East, Afghanistan; Company Commander, HHC 3rd Brigade Special Troops Battalion, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks Hawaii & Kirkuk, Iraq; Battalion Executive Officer and Assistant Professor of Military Science, University of Illinois, Champaign, Illinois; Group Engineer, 7th Special Forces, Eglin AFB & Bagram, Afghanistan with Combined Joint Special Operations Task Force – Airborne.

Prior to accepting this position with the USACE Galveston District, he served with U.S. Army Africa in Vicenza, Italy, as the Facilities and Construction Division Chief within the Deputy Chief of Staff, Engineer Directorate. While assigned he also served as the Construction Plans Chief.

In 2005, he earned a Masters of Arts in Public Administration from Webster University, Saint Louis, MO. Jay is also a Project Management Professional, PMP. His military education includes Engineer Officer Basic Course; Airborne, Air Assault and Ranger Courses; Engineer Captains Career Course; Combined Arms and Services Staff School and the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College.

Lt. Col. Luckritz’s awards and decorations include Bronze Star Medals 2OLC, Meritorious Defense Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal 3OLC, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Army Achievement Medal 3OLC, National Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal and Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal.
