HOUSTON (Feb. 28, 2020) –Richard Long, natural resource management specialist with the Houston Project Office of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District, discusses the confluence of Buffalo Bayou and Langham Creek downstream of Addicks and Barker dams with members of the Water Management Team of the Galveston District. Sarah Delavan, chief of the Water Management Section, said "it is important for the team to have a clear understanding of how Addicks and Barker dams and reservoirs function from the top of the watershed to the Houston Ship Channel. What better way to obtain that understanding than seeing it first-hand in the field."
