The project’s drainage improvements will provide widespread water surface elevation decrease throughout the subdivision, resulting in reduced flood risk. Speakers at the ceremony included Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones; Director of the Harris County Flood Control District, Dr. Christina Petersen; and Harris County Engineering Dept. Executive Director & County Engineer Dr. Milton Rahman. The Harris County Engineering department is the lead on the project.
