  • Pre-solicitation notice RFP posted for $7 billion SWG MATOC

    The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District posted the pre-solicitation notice for the Phase 1 Request for Proposal (RFP) for the District’s $7 billion horizontal construction requirement on Feb. 7, 2022, on SAM.gov to give notice to industry that the official RFP will be released on February 22, 2022. This update comes as Galveston finishes the final steps of the solicitation internal reviews. The pre-solicitation notice is the first official notice indicating the solicitation process will actually begin with the RFP being released 15 days later for Phase 1 (of 2 Phases) for the $7 billion Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Multiple Award Task Order (MATOC). Proposals will be due approximately 30 days after the RFP is released on SAM.gov. The see exact proposal date will be in the official RFP upon release.

    GALVESTON, Texas (Dec. 14, 2016) – The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District awarded a task order for the Multiple Award Task Order Contract Rapid Response contract in the amount of $1,190,520 to Manson Construction Co., for the dredging of the Matagorda Ship Channel, entrance channel, in Matagorda County, Texas.
