Full Public Notice     Project Plans

The applicant is requesting approval to decommission‐in‐place their 8.625” outside diameter gas pipeline, BSEE segment No. 9428, and 58,693 feet in length that runs from GA313 Block and crossing Galveston Area Blocks 314, 303, 281, and 282 to an 8-inch to 20-inch subsea tie‐in in Block 274.  Decommissioning in the anchorage area involves pipeline that is buried 16.5 feet below the surface.  Outside of the anchorage area, the existing pipeline is at least 3 feet below the surface.  The objective is to pig, flush, cap and decommission‐in‐place the total length (58,693 feet) of the 8-inch pipeline from an existing valve in the originating Block GA313 to the Blue Dolphin 20-inch SSTI in GA274 Block.
