Full Public Notice     Project Plans

Permit SWG-2000-02904 was issued on 1 October 2013, and authorized hydraulic maintenance dredging of approximately 1 mile within Caney Creek Cut, with placement of dredged material in an upland disposal location.  The dredging of approximately 50,000 cubic yards of silty clay material is proposed.  The applicant has experienced difficulty in obtaining and/or constructing the upland disposal site for this work.  The applicant desires to retain the option of constructing the currently permitted upland disposal site.  The applicant also requests the use of Corps placement area (PA) #99 but also requests permission to have access to Pas #101A, 100, or 101, if necessary.  The applicant also requests the use of surf zone PA #98 should the previously mentioned PAs not be available for use.
