Full Public Notice          Project Plans       

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The applicant proposes to install approximately 276 cubic yards of concrete erosion control A-jack blocks to prevent bank erosion near NGPL Louisiana Number 1 and 2 pipelines, located in Sabine Pass.  Geotextile fabric would be placed under the blocks for stabilization.  The blocks would be installed by a crane barge from the water.  The blocks would tie into existing blocks installed along the shoreline in 2004, along both the northern and southern terminus of the existing blocks.  Approximately 0.08 acre of bottom would be displaced.  No wetlands would be impacted.
