Full Public Notice    Project Plans

The applicant proposes a 10-year maintenance dredging program at the proposed site.  Mechanical methods would be used to dredge the site down to a depth of -16 feet MLLW along 150 linear feet parallel to the shoreline and to shape the shoreline to an acceptable slope of not more than 2:1.  Shoreline stabilization, using articulated block mat, would be placed along the reshaped shoreline to protect it from turbulent prop wash and excessive silt build-up under Nationwide Permit 13. Dredged material would be placed in a contained, 0.5-acre upland disposal area on the CITGO site.
