Full Public Notice    Project Plans

The applicant proposes to amend Permit SWG-2000-03009, issued 23 April 2012.  The existing permit authorized an extension of time to construct a 1,300-foot-long bulkhead and dredge approximately 30,000 cubic yards of material to a depth of 12 feet below mean low tide.  In this proposal the applicant proposes to add 1,692 linear feet of new bulkhead and dredge approximately 75,000 cubic yards of material to a depth of 12 feet below mean low tide.  This will create a new barge berthing area in an existing shallow water inlet.  The dredged material is proposed to be used for backfill behind a portion of the proposed bulkhead.  Additional dredged material is proposed to be used to fill in and raise the grade of 3.53 acres within the shallow open water inlet on the property.  The purpose of this project is to expand operations at an existing facility.
