Dow proposes to discharge fill material into 10.71 acres of adjacent wetlands (same amount as previous public notice) for the construction of a Pressure Swing Adsorption Unit along with a reduced footprint for the parking area/lay down area (change from previous public notice).  The proposed Pressure Swing Adsorption Unit is needed to take a hydrocarbons waste gas stream which is currently burned and convert this waste gas stream to a beneficial use product.  The parking area/lay down area will support construction and operations of the Propane Dehydrogenation Unit and Light Hydrocarbon 9 Unit facilities which are both being built in uplands, where previous manufacturing facilities and equipment were located.  The entire 35.3 acre project site will be utilized for this revised project.
