Full Public Notice    Project Plans

The applicant is requesting a 10-year extension of time to perform previously authorized maintenance dredging via hydraulic and/or mechanical dredging of an existing basin to a maximum of -49 feet mean low tide (MLT) (-45 feet MLT required depth, plus 2 feet allowable over depth, plus 2 feet advanced maintenance dredging).  In addition, FHR is requesting to amend the permit to include Berry Island and an on-site upland location on FHR property as additional placement areas for maintenance dredged material.  Work previously authorized includes the modification of an existing small craft pier (Ingleside Marine Terminal 41 Dock 5 – completed in September 2012), and maintenance dredging of an existing basin to a maximum of -49 feet mean low tide (MLT) (-45 feet MLT required depth, plus 2 feet allowable over depth, plus 2 feet advanced maintenance dredging).  Maintenance dredged material is currently authorized for placement within Dredged Material Placement Area (DMPA) 10, DMPA 13, and the Good Hope DMPA.  This authorization was issued 15 June 2011 and expires 31 December 2016.
