GALVESTON, Texas (Feb. 24, 2023) “Momma Shug,” a character—said to be more than 100 years old—played by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Galveston District Executive Office Administrative Support Assistant Pat Agee shares her views on social issues during the district’s Black History Month observance. Momma Shug shared her unique take on American history, to include the Jim Crow-era South and the Civil Rights Movement during this performance entitled Inspiring Change with Knowledge of the Past.
