Full Public Notice          Project Plans

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:  The applicant proposes to maintenance dredge the existing channel and harbor entrance of Port Mansfield from Station 8+000 to Station 43+146 to a depth of -12 feet mean lower low water (MLLW).  The proposed placement site for dredged material is Corps of Engineers Placement Area 7, which is immediately adjacent to the Port Mansfield Cut Navigation Channel and the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway.  The dredging method used would be hydraulic dredging; however, mechanical dredging would be used if needed.
