Full Public Notice

On September 18, 2003, a joint public notice was issued to inform interested parties that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District had prepared a draft Environmental Assessment for the channel widening and installation of mooring buoys along the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway near Port O’Connor, Texas. The notice provided a 30-day period for submitting comments. However, due to a lack of funding, the U.S. Government was partially shut down from October 1 through October 16, 2013, which included non-essential operations of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Accordingly, the deadline for submitting comments in response to this public notice is hereby extended until November 4, 2013.
