Full Public Notice    Project Plans

The applicant proposes to install three wave breaks as well as boat docks in Copano Bay, and boardwalks and outlooks in and over tidal salt marsh contiguous with the bay.  The three wave breaks would consist of 7,610 cubic yards of concrete slabs from the demolition of the nearby Lyndon Baines Johnson Causeway placed below the mean high water elevation, extending a total distance of 1,468 linear feet, and covering 51,380 square feet of unvegetated bay bottom.  The walkways, boardwalks and boat slips would comprise a total of 478 linear feet and cover 3,204 square feet.
