Full Public Notice Project Plans

The applicant is requesting an extension of time on an existing permit to perform maintenance dredging for 10 years, and to consolidate Department of the Army Permits 21136, 23656, and SWG-2007-00574 for the project site. Additionally the applicant proposes to extend the area of maintenance dredging to a depth of 29 feet below mean sea level with 1 foot of overdredge and extend an existing bulkhead 40 linear feet and dredge a 0.97-acre area on the western edge of the project site to match the bulkhead of the adjoining property. The applicant estimates dredging approximately 47,050 cubic yards of material and deposit it in one of the eight existing authorized placement areas.
